Be Careful When You Hear Agent Referral

Typically someone is interested in buying a home out of the area they live in, they might ask their sphere of influence to refer another agent out of the area that specializes in the area they are interested in.  Generally someone will recommend an agent who recommends another agent in that area.  Just a work of caution, the recommended agent night not be the best agent for the buyer since the agents usually work out a referral fee between each other.  The referred agent may just be willing to pay a higher referral fee to the other agent and not really a good agent.  It’s not the worse thing, there a lots of good referral networks and good agents.  Just as any search for an agent, buyers or sellers getting a referred agent should interview  the candidate and you’re not required to use that agent.
