It’s that time of the year when we loose an hours sleep. At 2 am this Sunday, we’re supposed to move clocks one hour earlier, as if anyone really does at that time. Sometime that day, we set clocks ahead.
Beginning in 2007, daylight savings time starts on the first Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in Novenber. The dates wer established by Congress with the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Previously DST began the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October.
A good practice recommended by firefighters, is to change the batteries in your smoke detector when you set your clocks.
